Rosie Hedger was born in Scotland and completed her MA (Hons) in Scandinavian Studies at the University of Edinburgh. She has lived and worked in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, and now lives in the UK. Rosie was a candidate in the British Centre for Literary Translation’s mentoring scheme for emerging translators in 2012, mentored in Norwegian by Don Bartlett. Since then she has worked on a range of interesting projects, primarily in Norwegian but also in Danish (more information about which can be found here).
